|Too scared to post pic of Freddy Krueger|
Work is actually where I used a Keurig for the first time. And I really thought it was just for coffee, so I avoided it like the plague. Then a coworker brought in some tea and apple cider K-Cups, and my mind was blown. My favorite spiced tea had a K-Cup? And tasted just as delicious?
But then I think about how a box of tea K-Cups are about $15. And a box of teabags with the same exact tea is about $3, $4 at most. Sure, I don't get to hear the machine at work make the cool brewing sound, and I don't get to push down the lever and pretend like I work in an industrial plant, but I get the same, hot tea satisfaction.
So what's your take on the whole Keurig/K-Cup phenomenon? Are you a die-hard, or do you like your coffee or tea the old-fasioned way?
Also, shout-out to Patience & Perfection who just wrote me on twitter and asked me what the heck a Krueger Coffee Maker was. Because I have a fever and wrote that Kreuger instead of Keurig in the entire blog post. Round one - fever!
*Freddy Krueger did not enter my dreams and plant this blog post in my head. Kuerig has not endorsed this in any way. I do not own a Kuerig, although if they wanted to send one to me I would probably glad me take it.
