The Buzz on: Snow Boots???

We've had 65+ mph winds and rain here today, which brought me to the realization: it's actually going to snow. And I have nothing except stilettos, 2 pairs of flats and some Ugg boots. So snow friends, do I really need snow boots? Here are some I've picked out, but obviously I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing or looking for...

Or, am I better off just getting a cheap pair of snow boots and getting some waterproof rain boots?

For reals, no clue what I should be looking for. But regardless, there are pumpkin muffins in the world. It's all going to be ok.

  2. although i'm currently living in a place that rarely gets snow i would advise AGAINST the wellies for snow weather. although your feet will be dry, they will be ccccold! i vote for the timerland holiday duck boot or last pair that was checkered. one of the fashion blogs i follow here in austin has the timberland boots. trust her. she's awesome. : ) good luck in your boot hunt!

  3. I think I said this before...but the Hunters with the fleece socks are super warm (like feet sweat) and waterproof!!! You can usually find them on ebay for cheaper :)

Even though I live where it snows, I don't think I have owned snow boots since I was a kid. So, not much advice on what would be better!

  6. I live in the Midwest and we get some snow each season. I ended up buying some kids snow boots (because I fit in them and they're cheaper) and I wear them a few times each year. Usually if it's still snowing and I need to get to work, I'll put those on and take my cute shoes with me to switch into. But I wouldn't spend a lot of money on them.

  7. If you live in the Pacific Northwest, it definitely makes more sense to get wellies and just wear warm socks. But those Sorel snow boots are pretty gosh-darn adorable...
