Plagiarists - Hang Your Head in Shame

I was a journalism major and now work in marketing. Plagiarism has always been a no-no. Not just a slap on the wrist, but a full-on knock you out of school/work on your butt. No take backs. No adjusties. You're gone.

Sometimes you read a certain blog and you get inspired to write a post. That's fine. Sometimes you may find a book or a dress in common - that's ok too. But full on stealing someone's sidebar content and blog posts, that's not ok. In fact, it's worse than not ok, it's NO-KAY, which is like the combined version of no and okay, and in all caps, so you could tell I was yelling it. That's how I feel about it.

I've read so many blog posts lately about people taking content or photos from, and I've personally had my site plagiarized now, and boy am I not the happy ray of sunshine I usually am.

So I leave you with this: Plagiarizers, hang your head in shame. And then fall off a bridge, because your head will be down and you won't see where you are headed.

  1. Ugh that's the worst - I'm so sorry.

  2. Thanks Sarah - I'm hoping by writing this that they get a major HINT and that I don't need to call them out. It's been happening with all of the blogs I read though so I thought I'd address is it anyway.

  3. Love the new layout...and if people are not creative enough to create their own page then they shouldn't be blogging!
